I'm not prejudice but...

I think that somewhere in our souls if we were honest we would admit that most of us are a little bit.

For example, I honestly believe that fat people (really fat - not a bit plump) are lazy and have no self control.

...but perhaps this is countered by the different way that people react to me now that I am fiesty red head rather than a dumb blonde. I find it easier to make myself heard, but equally people seem to expect me to do something now.... to be responsible. My eyelashes just don't pass muster like they used to...

Summer rain and winter sunshine.

I was walking back from buying cat food and fake tan today, thinking
how my life has changed so and all wrapped up in a warm glow caused by
my smug contentedness (and Primark coat). I wasn't dwelling on the fact
my hair colour has faded, and I wasn't dwelling on the fact that this
sore throat I've had for the last days seems to be becoming a cold.

I was thinking how I am going to Spain on Sunday with the boy to catch some summer rays, and how easy everything was because he
was going to carry my bag and drive me to the airport... I was thinking
about Christmas, and what I was going to buy him...  I was
thinking about the party my parents New Year party and wondering if the
latest footballing neighbour of theirs would make an appearance.

I didn't really even care that I wasn't wearing mascara.

When I got home and cuddled my kitten, I made myself a cup of tea and
sat down to plan my birthday party with 5 friends (we all share
birthdays within a week or so - creepy).

An email was lying casually in my inbox, from my ex... telling me that the orchid I bought him last spring had reflowered.

Suddenly my throat felt sore, my hair seemed dull and dry and I had an overwhelming desire to put my mascara on.

I was worried that I would be bored today...

Luckily I just found this in my guest book from a kindly soul called Bob...

So, what do you think of the Royal Mail?

Go to the Royal Mail Forum to air your views

I can't imagine that Bob would have spammed me, so I must urge you all
immediately to go to this forum (link in guest book) and make
yourselves heard.

Thank you.

A new low

My blog is advertising Primark and I have no-one to blame but myself.
