(4.11.03 15:22) Does my bum look big in this? |
(4.11.03 15:24) Why did you marry a cowboy and why did it end? |
(4.11.03 15:30) Why Yellow? |
(4.11.03 15:31) Where can 20six bloggers in Central London meet? Is there a real life Blog-Caff? Its probably more likely to be a Blog-Cocktail Bar! |
(4.11.03 15:31) yaagtm - I'm sorry, but - yes Minks - I married a cowboy because I wanted a good story to go home from travelling with and it was on my things to do before I am 30 list. Plus - he was a sexy beast... Also I am a romantic and kind of saw myself on a ranch baking muffins for the men-folk.... It ended because he called Holly Golightly a star-fucker when we were watching breakfast at tiffanys in the regent beverly wiltshire. To be fair - i don't think it was destined for the long term. *whispered* and he was only a part time cowboy really... X |
(4.11.03 15:31) Are cheese balls bad for you? |
(4.11.03 15:32) Star-Fucker? |
(4.11.03 15:33) AB - Yellow? On my blog I assume? Because it was the nearest colour to a Daisy when I set this up. Does it hurt your eyes? Refblog - we don't meet. We act as spies and pass notes on the underground as far as I am aware. If however you did want to then every now and again somebody organises blinks (drinks for bloggers) and the last one was a wicked night. |
(4.11.03 15:34) AB - only if you eat too many and yes... star-fucker and prostitute - go figure! |
(4.11.03 15:37) No I think it's lovely. I thought she was fantastic. BAT one of my all time faves. |
(4.11.03 15:41) Plus it has hannibal in it. I love it when a plan comes together. What is the capital of Mongolia? |
(4.11.03 15:44) eb - so do I and thus impressed I am with you BAT knowledge. ARE YOU A GIRL? Truthfully - I have no clue as to the answer to your question. I am sorry. |
(4.11.03 15:53) Who sang 'Moonriver'? |
(4.11.03 15:55) Many people including Audrey, Frank and Andy Williams. I've got a dodgy version by someone who sounds like Kermit the Frog although I doubt its true.... |
(4.11.03 16:01) this is a question i often ask myself, so i thought i'd ask you too - what on earth motivated you to study classics, and did you really like it? |
(4.11.03 16:04) When will the plumber arrive? |
(4.11.03 16:09) Oh dear God Pu. I loved history - I could always see just how it used to be in my head, It was like fantastic stories that were actually true! When I started learning Classic at 6th form I guess I became strangely obsessed with how they all used to live. They were such fascinating people and you can chart the birth of so much of our world from them and their work. I loved the fact that i could learn the theatre, religion, warfare, languages and it all fitted together like a jigsaw in my head until i could imagine myself gossiping round the water fountain in a yellow dress. No other subject I know is so specific and yet covers such a variety of things. I rather liked the fact that you never had to be exact with things like you do in modern history. It's all 'in about the 5th century bc probably'. It's a subject that allows you to be creative within a theme. D x x Plus Classics students were voted the most employable by the times! |
(4.11.03 16:09) And I loved it BTW. |
(4.11.03 16:10) Adam. I know you hold me in high esteem but I've told you time and again. I am not god. D x x |
(4.11.03 16:13) How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? |
(4.11.03 16:18) As with everything Nick we do it constantly until we bore ourselves. So I would say less and less as time went on. |
(4.11.03 16:18) Ahhhhh, where can I get a cut price cashmere blanket? |
(4.11.03 16:19) Who framed Roger Rabbit? |
(4.11.03 16:20) AB - Was it that nasty cartoon gone bad who melted at the end? Minks - The John Lewis or Debehams sale is where I would look.... |
(4.11.03 16:21) You've done it again D - every day there's a gem! |
(4.11.03 16:23) Done what? Is this about my spelling? |
(4.11.03 16:28) Was your first time good, bad or indifferent? Keith (Hmm!) |
(4.11.03 16:30) First time what Keith? Blogging? Eating solid food? Or do you mean shagging? |
(4.11.03 16:34) No dais, I'm all man. Or all baboon. Or a twisted chimera of the two. But just think how much better BAT would have been with Mr T in it? Where can I buy a tatseful beanbag (if such a thing exists)? |
(4.11.03 16:37) The third option (I’m too polite to say it!) Keith (Well.. I am!) |
(4.11.03 16:40) Is the glass half empty or half full. Or does it just mean that it's your round? |
(4.11.03 16:41) Erudite - Habitat. I saw some lovely ones there yesterday - sort of cube shaped. Keith - I am shocked! Your not too polite to ask... But (oh cringe)... I guess indifferent looking back. I was 17 and on holiday and he was (I still can't believe this) called Cliff and sang summer holiday to me on the Beach. I was smitten so I a couple of days into the 'romance' I had about 23 vodka and cokes and went for it. I remember very little about it except I was glad I'd got it out the way. Do I regret it? Not really - he was a sweet boy - with a comedy name and I have a cute picture of him (although he looks very young now...). D x x PS Yes the sand gets everywhere. |
(4.11.03 16:42) NickD - Mine is always half full, but sometimes I drink other peoples when they are distracted - so that might explain it.... |
(4.11.03 16:51) Why do birds sing suddenly appear, everytime you are near? |
(4.11.03 16:55) Just like me, they long to be close to you. |
(4.11.03 17:33) where's my closest habitat? and much more importantly, what do you want me to draw?? |
(4.11.03 17:36) Why do women remember everything? Oh, and if I may, I'd like to answer NickD's earlier question - a woodchuck would chuck no amount of wood, since a woodchuck can't chuck wood. |
(4.11.03 17:39) EB - I told you - a secret squirrel. There are Habitats in Finchley Road (Met and Jub lines) and Tottenham Court Road. L - But if I could chuck wood I bet it wouldn't want to anyway. Women do not remember EVERYTHING. I for one have forgotten my entire birthday party after 11pm. Totally. |
(4.11.03 17:46) Hmmm...ok, why do women remember everything when they're not totally and horribly drunk? ;-) Ooh ooh, miss miss, why don't sheep shrink when it rains? |
(4.11.03 17:49) The capital of Mongolia is Ulan Bator.... |
(4.11.03 17:55) L - We need to talk... Maisy - wow - did you just know that? D x x PS Rain is not hot. If it were the sheep would shrink. |
(4.11.03 17:58) 5 minutes left..... |
(4.11.03 18:17) D'oh - yeah I remember now - I even wrote it down! (that's just how organised a secret agent I am) I will definately check out the bean bag opportunities offered at tottenham court road. cheers! |
bonhote (5.11.03 00:49) Blimey - it's been all go around here the last few days - to reiterate the ever-wise HJB, yes, don't feel bad about casual sex, easier said than done, but frankly we've all done it (ok, do it), and there are worse things you could do. Yes, technically you should have called him, but given the way he was acting with those texts I'm afraid I have no real sympathy for him. And as for the other, all I'll say is that if you've seen Swingers, you'll understand what I mean when I say you are so Money baby. Laters, x |
(5.11.03 10:11) Bonhote. X X X As ever. |
(5.11.03 15:06) Shit - why was I busy at work yesterday afternoon and missed this. Can I ask a late question? |
(5.11.03 16:00) Go on then - as its you. |
(5.11.03 16:13) HURRY UP!!! |
(5.11.03 16:19) If you could have a date with any man in the world, who would you choose and why? |
(5.11.03 16:25) Ooohh that's really good. If he has to be alive then I would go on a date with Jack Nicolson because he is a clever older sexy man who I bet you could have the best night with over much champagne and gossip. If I can have dead people too then I would want to go on a date with Elvis - when young. Sexy beast with good taste in fat man food and an accent to die for. |
(5.11.03 16:34) Thanks Daisy - neither answer surprises me, but good answers anyway. I agree, if I was a woman that is, both have lived exciting lives and would be interesting. Thanks for letting me ask. |
(5.11.03 16:42) Thanks for the sweetie - and ask anything anytime darling. You know me. X |
(5.11.03 17:09) Ooh, ooh, that's so tempting. I'll have to remember that. I don't get E4, and haven't seen when the programme is being shown. I'll have to get it taped by someone, if you let me know when it is. Just thought of a similar question. If you could have a date with any reality TV "star", who would it be and why? All the best. Speak to you soon. x |
(5.11.03 17:22) I'm glad you can't watch the show. Its on at the end of this month. I can't say anymore about it or I would have to shoot you. D x x PS If I really had to it would be Brian Dowling. I know he's gay but the rest would kill me! |
