How come I leave the company 4 days before the work everything-is-free Summer party at Kensington Roof Gardens? That doesn't seem fair. I hope they don't let the new girl go.
*Thinks for a moment about behaviour at previous work parties*
*Flash back of not being able to hail a cab on Chancery Lane for about an hour because I couldn't let go of the lamppost my colleague had wrapped me round for fear of falling into the road*
*Flash back of waking up in 4 poster bed in a mansion with a croquet lawn, olympic size swimming pool and tennis courts after a shot drinking competition and realising that I was many miles from where I had been at the party with no clue how I had gotten there*
*Flash back of telling along-ago fat old boss that I had a bit of a thing for him*
*Flash back of waving to the boy from accounts who I fancied and then tumbling into the road tearing my fishnets and legs into shreads*
*Flash back of being chased through Covent garden by an angry doorman*
*Flash back of breaking to my neighbours house when I got home at 4am because I hadn't forgotten my key and then drinking ALL THEIR GIN*
Ah well... it's probably all for the best then.

(1.7.04 15:55) Annoncement Regarding Agony Bitch I'm sorry to bring bad news, but I found out yesterday that Agony Bitch was involved in a car accident with her boyfriend on Saturday Evening, and sadly both died on Sunday morning. I know many of you knew her, and I'll pass on any condolences you may want to send her family. Her sister has informed me that in accordance with AB wishes no flowers be sent, yet if you want, you can make a donation to her favourite charity Childline UK. Thank you Mikey T |
