Gone.

I just signed my house away for a year to a stranger. My tennant is moving in on Friday. I may now have money for shoes but still, it was a damn hard thing to do. I really loved my house.

How come my life never moves slowly? Three weeks ago I woke up with my boyfriend in my bed after making meatballs in my kitchen. Now itīs all gone, and I am sitting in an internet cafe in Spain, with my whole life in boxes pondering whether or not to sleep with a policeman ex-boyfriend or not.

Man this is hard. I feel very very very lonely today and I can only blame myself... Well, for some of it...

Itīs going to be fine. No, itīs going to be great.

Really great.

Things are just getting started - soon you'll be a teacher and your life can really get going.

Think of it as the beginning of an adventure. How many people get the chance to start out afresh?
Have a sweetie to give you strength.

IT'S GONNA BE BRILLIANT
Think positive. )

Daise have a sweetie (if I still have one to give, *looks*) you deserve it. People say the crappiest things at times like these such as "it takes time"; and you don't believe them but it's true *really*. Both my parents died just over a year ago and I thought I'd be a basket case forever more. But I'm not - you do heal. Big hugs coming at ya Daise.

I know, I know.
I just woke up and felt sick with it all... and then signing the house contract... Well!

Oh bobble - talk about putting my life into perspective!
I hope that you are still getting strionger and bless you for the sweetie.

Honey you WILL be OK - WE all know that sweetie - it will just take a little time for you to have that gorgeous smile back for good.
STILL wishing I was flying out this weekend.

Thanks Daise )
See this as an opportunity to do stuff you always wanted too. Please only yourself and often.

You'll be fine, love, so have a coffee and a sweetie. Anyway, you've got the thrilling wonderful prospect (!) of having a drink with me in the not-too-distant future, so wahaay! Huggles,

Davey xxx

Daisy darling, four years ago I left flat, job and boyfriend to move to Portugal to be an 'artiste'. I won't lie, there have been some crappy bits and very homesicky bits (still miss having a good cadbury's choice, sigh) but everything else has more than made up for it. If you hadn't done this now you'd have regretted it later when you no longer had the chance to do it. It's the scary things like this that you remember most fondly and feel most proud about later.
(plus, all the really cool English people live in the Iberian peninsula...

Keep smiling Daise, and enjoy the adventure...

Davey - I am excited.
Guys - you are all just lovely, aren't you?

Now I've got 'All by myself' in my head - one of the most annoying songs in history. 'All by myyyyself...don't wanna be...'. Pants. Go on, Daisy, sing it with me - if you can't fix your mood, you may as well enjoy wallowing in it.
