Working 9 to 5. Well, actually more like 3.30ish...

The Cat and I have been wroking really hard all day finishing off all my preparations for my first day at school tomorrow.

Here he is thoughtfully chewing my ruler-ruler while he contemplates
the rise of the dictator. My ruler is probably the coolest and geekist
thing I own... along the side, rather than centimetres it lists
all of the kings and queens. What a joy. Talking of which - don't you
wish that we lived in a weightless world like America where baking
involes cups of suger and sticks and butter... what fun that would be!
And you don't have to wash up your scales.

A tricky job.

There again they are all fat....

So, my first lesson is a laminated card game where my kids all get to
be dictators and carve up the world. Fun for all the family.

This is my very own laminator. After my ruler ruler it is my favourite
geeky thing I own. I could eat it... if I didn't risk coating my tongue
with boiling plastic...

My secong lesson consists of my class looking at WW1 artefacts. The
challenges will be to make sure no-one nicks them, eats them or wets
themselves with the excitement.

See... pant wettingly exciting.

However - if playing games, looking at old stuff and getting to see my
ruler isn't enough... There is one secret a new teacher can use which
never fails....

So - I'm off to Woolworths. See you later x

I used to have that Kings and Queens poem on a parchment scroll... You know the one that goes "Willy, Willy, Harry, Steve, Harry, Dick, John, Harry 3" - That's all I remember of it, but it's served me well...
