Vodka and ice

I'm teaching the Russia revolution at the moment, and I have an overwhelming desire to watch Dr Zhivago as a result.

Mmmm... Omar Sharif

I might wear peasant clothes tonight and make the boy play 'Lara's theme' on the guitar for a couple of hours.

Hahaha - just remembered a highlight of my holiday. There was a chap doing barbecued meat by the side of the road on the route into town from our hotel who claimed to be Omar Sharif's brother. He was reasonably entertaining but more than a little scary once he got going about his oak-fired oven. And I'd lay large bets that he's never been within 50 miles of Omar Sharif!
